( Why UK businesses choose Devibi )

Maintenance someone actually looks at.

Priced against the UK market, not converted

UK website maintenance runs roughly £25–£75 a month for a brochure site, £75–£150 for a business site with forms, and £150–£400 for e-commerce. Our plans sit in those bands deliberately. Below about £50 the market is automated with nobody reviewing the result.

Updates tested before they go live

The update itself is rarely what breaks a site. The interaction with everything else is. Every change lands on a staging copy first and gets checked, which is how a plugin update that quietly kills your contact form gets caught before your customers find it.

Backups that have actually been restored

Almost every provider takes backups. Far fewer restore them. A backup nobody has tested is an assumption, and the moment you discover it does not work is exactly the moment you needed it. Restore tests run on a schedule and the result appears in your report.

WordPress maintenance done properly

WordPress maintenance UK-wide is most of what we run. Every plugin is third party code on someone else's release schedule, and the number of plugins predicts how much upkeep a site needs better than anything else. WooCommerce sits a tier up because a broken checkout costs money hourly.

UK hours, invoiced in pounds

Calls in UK working hours and invoices in GBP, with a scope agreed up front. No overnight handovers to a team you have never spoken to, and no currency surprises on the invoice.

We take on sites we did not build

Most sites we look after came from another agency, a freelancer or an in-house team. We start with an audit rather than a plan: update backlog, plugin risk, and whether the existing backups actually restore. Remedial work, if needed, is quoted separately at a fixed price.

( How it starts )

Three steps, starting with an audit.

01

Send us the URL

Two minutes and the address of your site. That is genuinely enough for us to tell you which tier fits.

02

We audit what is there

Update backlog, plugin and dependency risk, whether the backups restore, and whether anything is already compromised. You get the findings either way.

03

We take it from there

Onboarding to staging so the first update cycle is safe, then monthly upkeep with an itemised report of what was actually done.

Frequently asked questions

How much does website maintenance cost in the UK?

Our website maintenance services UK-wide are priced at £99, £199 and £349 a month, and website maintenance cost UK-side is easy to sanity-check against the market. Across the wider UK market, expect roughly £25–£75 a month for a simple brochure site, £75–£150 for a business site with forms and integrations, £150–£400 for WooCommerce and e-commerce, and £400 or more for business-critical builds with a response SLA. Plans priced meaningfully below £50 are usually fully automated with nobody reviewing the result, which is a legitimate product but a different one.

What is included in your website maintenance packages?

Every tier includes core, plugin and theme updates applied on staging and verified before going live; daily off-site backups with scheduled restore tests; security and malware monitoring; uptime monitoring with alerting; SSL and domain renewals; and an itemised monthly report. Business and Commerce add content and development time, performance checks and a stated response time. No tier includes unlimited development work, because the allowance is written down rather than implied.

Do you offer WordPress maintenance and support in the UK?

Yes. Our WordPress maintenance services UK-wide are the majority of what we run, and WordPress maintenance packages UK clients ask for most often are the support-plus-updates kind. WordPress support and maintenance carries more update risk than hosted platforms because every plugin is third-party code changing on someone else's schedule, which is exactly why our WordPress maintenance packages test updates on a staging copy before anything reaches your live site.

Do you maintain WooCommerce stores?

Yes, on the Commerce tier at £349 a month. WooCommerce care sits a tier above the equivalent brochure site across the whole UK market, typically £150–£400, and for good reason: a store has a checkout, and a checkout that breaks silently after an update costs money for every hour it stays broken. Commerce plans have payment and checkout flows tested after every update cycle.

Do I have to have built the site with you?

No. Most sites we maintain were built by someone else. We start with an audit rather than a plan, because promising to keep a site healthy without looking inside it first is not a promise anyone can honestly make. If the site needs remedial work before ongoing cover makes sense, we quote that separately at a fixed price rather than folding it into the monthly fee.

Which platforms do you support besides WordPress?

Webflow, Wix, Squarespace and custom builds, at the same tiers. Hosted platforms need less patching because the platform handles its own updates, but they still need monitoring, backups, renewals, performance checks and someone to make the changes you need. The plan structure stays the same; the balance of work inside it shifts.

Can I cancel, and do I keep everything?

Yes to both. Plans are monthly with no long lock-in, and code, content, backups and access are yours throughout. We hand over cleanly to you or another provider whenever you ask. A care plan that depends on making you difficult to leave is not a care plan.

Do I actually need a website care plan?

It depends on what your site does. A small static site with no forms, logins, payments or plugins carries very little ongoing risk, and monthly cover is insurance against something close to zero. As soon as a site has forms, integrations, logins or payments it depends on software that changes underneath you whether or not you touch it, and at that point the risk is continuous. If yours is in the first category we will say so rather than sell you a plan.

Send us the URL. We will tell you the truth about it.

An audit of what state the site is actually in, which tier fits, and whether you need a plan at all. Yours either way.
